Alright, it’s time to plug shamelessly. I am trying to make a Webyssey graphic novel, and if you’re a repeat viewer on this site, there’s a good chance that you’re quite fond of that story. Those who’ve never read it should go here now.

I’m using kickstarter to fund the operation, and aiming for a total amount of $8,000. That’s not an immodest amount, I’ll grant you, but nor is it impossibly huge. In fact, at time of writing, I’ve already accrued over $1,500 thanks to friends, fans and total strangers. If you’d like to pledge some money, know that ANY amount, down to as little as a dollar, is important to me, and I thank you. The more people who pledge anything, the more buzz is generated around the project online, and thus the more likely it is that people will donate more money.

But here’s the kicker: unless we make the target amount ($8,000), no money changes hands. That’s right; it’s not as if you’re just throwing money into a rusty bucket with no guarantee of return – every person who donates can know that I won’t get a red cent unless we reach my target. It’s essentially like saying “I’ll chip in if everyone else does.” Moreover, attached to every donation are fabulous prizes! You can get a copy of the book, a written dedication or even appear in the book or re-design the cover, all depending on how much you’d like to donate!
